Our Silicon Valley team has an immediate opening for an account executive to handle public relations and marketing communications campaigns for technology companies in semiconductor, telecom, software, PC, and consumer electronics. This individual will be the primary day-to-day contact between clients and the agency at the functional level, developing program strategy and providing account direction. We're looking for emerging superstars who can do it all: envision, lead, direct, and execute with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates will initially work on PR projects with an option to handle marketing projects such as advertising and interactive marketing.

The ideal candidate will posses the following skill sets and attributes:

• 4+ years of PR experience either with an agency or on the client side.
• Familiarity with the high-tech media landscape and an appreciation of new technologies
• Experience in semiconductor, telecom, PC, consumer electronics or enterprise software categories a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Must possess solid communications skills in written and verbal forms.
• Must possess creativity, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• B.A. or B.S. degree preferred

This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and will be responsible for the following:

• Track / file product and corporate coverage
• Implement tactical elements of PR plans and initiatives from beginning to end.
• Develop and distribute monthly coverage reports to management and marketing staff
• Assist in creation and distribution of all PR materials including press releases, product fact sheets, media pitches and internal reports
• Provide support for trade-shows, product tours and media interviews
• Log and manage distribution of all software sent to media
• Consistently maintain all PR inventory including (but not limited to) product samples and shipping supplies
• Develop, maintain and update contact database
• Develop and issue publicity reports to management and marketing staff
